Having had a good job with lots of responsibilities and long hours, I decided at the age of 55 to jack it in and retire while I was young enough and still fit enough to enjoy doing the things I’d always dreamed of. Going a bit further on a bike is one of those things. If I had a motto, it would be Carpe Diem.
